Lavender Body & Hand Lotion - Jason

Review of Jason Pure, Natural & Organic Lavender Hand & Body Therapy.

Size: 8 oz / 250 g e
Price: $6.99
Scent: Lavender
Type: Body / Hand lotion
Skin Type Match: Normal / Sensitive / Dry
How Long I've Used It: One Week

This hand lotion leaves your skin as the Zohan would say "silky smooth". It has a mild lavender aroma, which can calm the senses. The lotion itself is thick and creamy, but its end result is light and velvety ( no greasy film). Along with softening the skin, it also has anti-aging primrose oil.

Tip: For long-lasting soft hands: Use a cream cleanser for hands rather than soap. Soap has a tendency to strip the skin of its natural oils. Apply hand lotion to damp hands to help lock in the moisture. Be consistent.

Dry Feet: Homemade Peppermint Creamy Foot Scrub

If you're experiencing dry, flaky feet...try a homemade foot scrub. Many times dry skin is due to an accumulation of dead skin cells. Using a scrub will help exfoliate the skin and remove the skin cells sitting on the surface.

The ingredients for this all natural foot scrub can be found in your kitchen:

2 tbsp plain yogurt
1 bag dried peppermint tea leaves

Mix the plain yogurt with one bag of dried peppermint tea leaves. Apply to feet and gently rub. The dried tea leaves will act as a natural, physical exfoliator, while the peppermint provides a cooling sensation. The yogurt is great for moisturizing thanks to its lactic acid. Leave the mixture on for a few minutes and then rinse off with lukewarm water.

If you experience chronic, dry soles and scrubs, moisturizers, etc...don't seem to help, then you may have athletes foot (fungal infection). In that case you would need to use an antifungal treatment.

Water: A Natural Skin Care Tip

Your skin is constantly losing moisture as a part of your normal metabolism. Drinking enough water will add radiance, moisture, and firmness to your skin. Although caffeine has its own health benefits, it can dehydrate the skin. If you enjoy caffeinated beverages (sodas / coffee, etc..)...be sure to drink extra water or eat water-rich fruit (oranges / grapes / grapefruit). This will help even out your water consumption.

Aubrey Organics Sea Buckthorn & Cucumber with Ester-C

Size: 4 FL OZ / 118mL
Price: $14-$16
Type: Creamy / topical vitamin C facial cream
Scent: Cucumber
Skin Type Match: Dry / Sensitive / Combination / Eczema / Rosacea
How Long I've Used It: 2 months

Aubrey Organics Sea Buckthorn & Cucumber with Ester-C is a refreshing, creamy and cooling moisturizer that offers skin repair benefits thanks to the key ingredient of Ester C. However, it doesn't stop with vitamin C...It also includes vitamins A and E. It is infused with aloe vera and cucumber extract, which can relieve and cool irritated skin. The coconut fatty acid cream base makes it ideal for those with especially dry skin. It contains Sea buckthorn oil, which is used in some cases to aid in skin problems, such as, eczema and rosacea. Its (sea buckthorn oil) healing properties help to fight swelling and inflammation.

This is definitely a high quality and effective product. It's incredibly helpful for those suffering from aggravating skin conditions. I have mild eczema and have tried everything (Cetaphil, Aveeno, and beyond!!) and this is certainly the best! It will get the job done, without irritating one's sensitive skin. The only draw back / flaw with this facial lotion - if it's not blended into the skin well enough, it may leave a faint orange tint. Of course, that's temporary and will rinse off with water.

Lafe's Organic Baby Lotion

Size: 6 oz / 177 mL
Price: Varies - The website price is $16.00 / I paid around $12 from health food store
Scent: Fragrance-free
Type: Lightweight / baby lotion
Skin Type Match: Sensitive / Oily / Acne-Prone / Eczema
How long I've used it: 4 months

This is the most lightweight lotion I've experienced. Many dermatologists recommend applying lotion to damp skin for better absorption. With this lotion, it's already taken care of. It contains reverse osmosis water, which makes it very easy to apply and it absorbs into the skin very well. Where it's so heavily water based, it may be ideal for oily to acne-prone skin types. It does not contain any fragrance, dyes, and it's also hypoallergenic...making it a great lotion for those with sensitive skin.

Although it's lightweight, it really softens the skin, giving it a dewy, and supple appearance. So, baby your skin with this phenomenal all-natural, organic baby lotion.
